Chapter 18 : That's where love starts

It's going to be the school holidays and Ginny suggested to go to Universal Studios. I didn't want to go, but Ginny insisted me to go. When I asked her who will be going, my mood went down after she said. Ok, of course Blake will be going. He goes anywhere Ginny goes. But, the problem came. Ginny has invited Belinda to come! OMG! Belinda is coming! With her pathetic boyfriend Louis! Now , everybody has a partner and I'm alone! I wanted to tell Ginny that I can't go because I'm allergic to Universal Studios, but I know she will know that I'm lying. Who on earth will be  allergic to theme parks? Come on, theme parks are so fun! Wait....... I think there's someone I can take along. Lanny! I asked Ginny whether if I could take a friend. She looked at me with her who-is-that eyes and told her it is Lanny. Ok, I admit, I had a little feelings for Lanny after that day, but who cares?

We went to Universal Studios by Belinda's mom's car. Ok, although most of the cheerleaders are scared of fat, but not Belinda. The first thing she said when we went there was " I'm hungry. Louis, I wanna go and eat. " We all looked at her, but she didn't care. We went with her to the nearest restaurant and she ordered a plate of fries, a large chicken hamburger, a mushroom soup , a plate of nachos and a cup of smoothie. Louis tried to take a piece of her nachos and she hit his hand and said " No touchy- touchy." She gobbled her food and she looked like a monkey. Luckily I managed to take a picture of her . Meanwhile, Blake and Ginny were cuddling while they shared eating a plate of spaghetti. I wasn't sad, I have Lanny. I looked at Lanny and I caught his eye. he smiled at me, I smiled back.I was wondering how would this day be over. Lanny have no reaction or he has reaction. Weird me.

We were lining up to ride the ride " The Mummy Returns" . The line was so long. We waited for an hour and it isn't our turn yet. We were lining up in pairs and Lanny was beside me. Just then, Lanny's hand touched my hand. I wanted to avoid his hand , but I can't. He holded my hand and I let him. I look at him and he look at me. We smiled. Ginny saw me. I was blushing, so did Lanny. We waited for  15 minutes more and it's our turn. Lanny sat beside me in that ride. He told to me have fun and don't be scared. I smiled again. Then, the ride begins. Lanny was holding my hand the whole journey. I felt good. We ride other rides and we went home.

I wonder if Lanny really love me. Is it a bet like Blake's ? I wish not. Lanny is so smart and caring. He wouldn't do that. Universal Studios. I will remember this place forever. That place was where Lanny and I begin.

Chapter 17 : Best dressed

I walked in to the school hallway with a beautiful dress and my new sneakers. Today is picture day and I attempt to get the award Best Dressed. Most of the people said that I look nice and will vote for me for the award. Ginny was wearing a beautiful necklace and dress. She was holding Blake's hand as she walked in. She stopped by at my locker and said  " Marty! You look awesome! Guess you will get the award Best Dressed. " I was happy though.  " You look nice too. " I answered. The bell rang and we walked into our class. Belinda saw me and said " Hey look! It's Miss Lamo ! Guess you wanna get that award. But, sorry, that award was always mine. " I didn't care about her. But, deep down inside my heart,  I am very sad. All I wanted is to get that award. Never mind.

It was the time. Everyone was voting for the awards.  Sadly, Belinda didn't get that award she got the nothing.  She stumped her foot and walked to Ms. Berry.  Ms. Berry said that she will make another award for her and she had nothing to say. Meanwhile,  I got th's award. I was so happy.  Ginny got the Most Brave award. We were so happy and I hanged out at her house. Luckily Blake wasn't there. If he was there it will make me feel awkward. We did some makeover and some photo shooting.  Ginny told me that she actually hate Belinda. She get close to her just because she wants Belinda to get along with her. We talked about Belinda and Blake came. I quickly made a move. Until now, I couldn't look at gonna in the eye. Her made me cry and shy. Now, I wouldn't want anything,  but Ginny as a friend.  Ginny, you are my everything.

Chapter 16 : Cheerleading

I won't feel good if I see the two couples kissing around, so I joined the cheerleaders. I first I thought that cheerleaders may be as bad like Belinda, but It wasn't . I learned some stunts and cheers and I found out I like it. Ginny joined me too. She said that she would to join too. In fact, Ginny was a better cheerleader. We practiced and our friendship became better and better. Luckily Belinda wasn't the captain, Missy was. Missy is a nice girl and she asked me to  be the flyer. Of course I won't reject that, but Belinda told Missy that she could be the flyer better than me. She asked for a competition and I accepted.

I did better than Belinda and Missy accepted. Belinda said that her base wasn't good and asked to change with me. We changed and I was still better than her. Belinda looked at Missy with those eyes and she walked away. I was the flyer and I am so proud. Next month is the competition and I will be the center attraction. Cheerleading is fun. I practiced and I improved. Soon, the day of the competition has come.

Missy was called to the principle's office a day before the competition. Belinda was mad and she insisted to be the flyer. Missy has no choice but to let Belinda be the flyer. Ginny comforted me and help me with the stunts.

Finally, the day has come. We were the last to perform. Other teams did very well, but we were confident. When it was our turn, we did very well until Belinda fell off from the ground. We quickly stop and take her to the hospital. Belinda was fine but she blame her base. Belinda even blame Missy for letting her take my place. Obviously, it was Belinda fault and she blamed everyone. Because of her, we lost. Thanks to you, Belinda!

Cheerleading will be nicer if Belinda isn't there. Our school will be famous because of cheerleading. But because of the spoil brat, everything was ruined. I suddenly like cheerleading so much, even there is  an evil creature named Belinda.

Chapter 15 : A bet

I walked in the school hall confidently and not a single tear comes out from my eyes. I told myself that I must be strong although I'm weak inside. Ginny and Blake were holding hands walking towards me. I wanted to avoid them, but I said I was strong. " Ginny and Blake, I want to find out the truth." I said. " Well, that day, Belinda and I bet that you will be in love with me if I ask you out. Ginny didn't know and she was so mad. That day, Belinda purposely ask someone to pour fruit punch on your dress so that you could go to the washroom and I can go to the closet with her. Belinda told you to break up with me so that Ginny could be with me. " Blake said. A BET? I wanted to cry, but I told myself that I am strong. " Well, have fun you guys! " I said as I run to my locker. Belinda again, she made a guy cheated on me. I hate her.

I walked with Ginny to out next class. I don't know why I feel sick and sad. I know I'm sad because I really really love Blake. He broke my heart by a bet. Ginny was nice and fun. Now, I just wish her to be happy. I feel dizzy and in a blink of an eye, I fell down on the floor and all I could see is dark.

I was at the school clinic. The nurse said that I had a flu. Maybe because I cried too much. Ginny came and we went home together. Ginny was a very kind, I'm lucky I had her as a friend. Mom saw me and Ginny went home. Mom thought I was pretending again. She said I stole people's boyfriend. She said I was a jerk. Dad saw and he made me wash his car. The two twins fight , poured milk on me and made me tripped. My flu became fever.

A bet? You call love a bet? Well, Belinda McDazzle , you won't  have a boyfriend in your entire life! You are a slut! You ruin people's life! You cheat on people! 

Chapter 14 : It wasn't great

After a banned month, I am back to school. Blake fetch me every morning and send me home everyday. Ginny didn't talk to me either. She was with The Fabs. Guess she will be another member of The Fabs. The school ball is coming and I am afraid. I'm afraid I will lose Ginny. Blake asked me to be his partner and I accepted! But, what about Ginny? Last year, Ginny and I went without dancing, we end up eating. Belinda looked at me with those evil eyes, like I'm wrong. I saw Ginny and I quickly called her. She isn't angry, she was calm. " Ginny, I'm really really sorry. " I told her. " It's ok, I'm fine now. Jonas asked me out yesterday and I accepted." she said. " That's great. " I said. We talk and she told me a lot of things. I'm glad she forgive me.

The ball was great. I wore my purple cocktail dress and Blake wore a purple one too! People said that we were matching couples. Ginny wore a white dress and Jonas said she was pretty. The ball went on pretty good until Belinda took the microphone. " Excuse me, stop dancing. We will have a game called 7 minutes in heaven. People, please picked your partner now. " she said. That time, Blake and I were together. We expected we will be partner. Until someone tripped and poured fruit punch on me. My dress was ruined! I left Blake and quickly go to the washroom. When I was back, Blake was gone. Then, Blake came out from the closet. " You are so hot , Ginny. Let's go. " Blake told Ginny. I was shocked. When they walked out, I looked at them, holding hands. " I thought you said everything was fine." I said as I look at them. " Well, sorry Marty. Belinda said it was ok. " they both said. Suddenly, Belinda took the microphone and said " Look at Marty Evens, she's lonely now!" Everybody looked at me as they were laughing.

I ran out from the school hall and ran home. From school to my house was far. I cried as I was running . Suddenly, someone tapped from the back. " Hello Marty. Remember me? What happened? " it was Lanny, my second grade friend. I didn't answer him I hugged him and I cried. " It wasn't great ! It wasn't ! " I said. He calm me down and took me to Starbucks. We had coffee and we talked. " What happened?" he asked. " Remember Ginny? She lied to me. " I said. I told him everything and he took me home. He was good listener. I thanked him and I went to my room. I cried the whole night. Although I lied to Ginny, but I didn't hurt her heart! Blake is a jerk. Mom came in asked me what happened " What happened Marty?" mom asked. " Nothing. " I answered. I told mom everything and she told me to find out the truth. The truth. Yup, I must find out!

Chapter 13 : Banned

Wait, didn't I told you that I was banned. Yup, banned. That month was pretty good. Ginny came over almost everyday and told me about school. She even told me about Blake. Wait, I didn't tell her about it, how would she know? Never mind. Although I was banned from school , I wasn't grounded! Blake went out with me on a date almost everyday. He said he likes me and we had my first kiss at his car. OMG! Until now, I couldn't believe that I'm dating the MOST HOTTEST, COOLEST , SMARTEST GUY EVER!

But, I still couldn't stand the fact that I lied to Ginny. Oh well, I thought my banned days were nice , but it wasn't nice until someone appear. " Marty! Belinda is here ! " mom shouted from downstairs. Belinda? What's she doing here? Ruin my life?  " Coming! " I shouted. Belinda was there, with her sparkling nails and her blonde hair. " Guess I'll leave you girls alone. " mom said. Belinda came close to me and whispered to my ear. " I know you and Blake are dating. You better breakup with him , he's mine. " she said. WHAT?! SO WHAT?! KILL ME? " So what? " I asked. " You really don't know? Idiot! " she said and she left.

What? I really don't get her. Blake is so sweet and kind, and the best thing is, he love me. The next day, Ginny came over angrily. " How dare you? You stole my guy! " she asked. " What guy?" I said. " Blake Ethan. I like him and you stole him from me! " she said. She likes Blake Ethan? Oh no, this is bad. " We started dating few days ago." I said. " I can't believe you did this! You even lied to me. Luckily Belinda told me! " Ginny said. " I'm sorry. " I said. " It's useless! " Ginny said as she ran out from my house. 

Ginny and I had a blog. I on the blog to see her last posts. But, I was banned. She made a picture and it says that " MARTY EVENS IS BANNED! " I'm so shocked. Did I hurt her? GREAT. Now, this banned month is unlucky. Thanks to you, Belinda. I hate you! Sorry Ginny. Blame Belinda! I'm really sorry.

Chapter 12 : Never

" Ms. Berry, I was the one. " I told Ms. Berry about the incident. " Well,  Ms. Evens, you are banned from school for a month." she told me. " Never mind, I expected it." I said. That time, Belinda was there. " Why would you want to do that? " she asked. " It is because of you. You put pictures of me everywhere. I just want you to feel the way I do." I said. " Erm.... Ms. Berry? Actually I was the one who put pictures of Marty everywhere, it wasn't her fault." Belinda said. Wow. That wasn't Belinda. Wait a minute, I'm I thinking that way again? No. NO. Belinda is a jerk, she wouldn't say that. " It's great you are honest, Belinda. Well, you want any punishment? " asked Ms. Berry. She can CHOOSE? That's unfair. " I want." said Belinda. " Well, you will get detention." said Ms. Berry.

After that, the both of us came out. " Wow, thanks Belinda, I didn't expect you to be........good. " I said. " Listen here Lamo, I admit just because I want to let Ms. Berry and other people know that I'm good, unlike you. Thanks by the way, for putting pictures of my everywhere. I was just acting. Idiot! " Belinda said. I couldn't believe that. ACTING? Such a JERK!

Meanwhile, Ginny came and talked to me " Hey, I'm great that you admit it. After all, you made poor Belinda suffer."  I looked at her with those eyes. My best friend, thinks that Belinda is innocent and I am guilty. " What happened to you these days, Ginny? You became totally a different person. You used to hate Belinda too. Why not now?" I asked. " It is because I realized Belinda is way cooler than you, but you are nicer than her. " Ginny said as she smile. Cooler? She meant that I'm not cool? Well, of course, she's a cheerleader.Cheerleaders are more popular and......cooler. " Fine, wanna come over and hang out?" I asked. " Ok, sounds good." Ginny said. 

We had a great time at my house. She became back the Ginny I knew and I am glad. Ginny asked me a weird question " Marty, do you have a crush? " I am shocked. How am I gonna answer that? I had crush on Blake Ethan, but I never told it to anyone. " Erm, no." I answered. " Well, I have one." she said. " Who's that?" I asked. " Someone you know, but I not telling you." she said. We hanged out until her mom called her.

The next morning, Blake Ethan caught my eye. He smile at me and asked me out. I was shocked. He never talked to me. Ginny kept on waving to him when he was smiling at me. Ginny asked me to hang out with her and I told her I can't , I have to babysit my brother and sister.

I lied to Ginny. I never lie to her. This is the first time. This may be the reason why she didn't talk to me. I may be a bad friend. A bad bad friend.

Chapter 11 : Time for revenge

I walk into the school and everybody starts laughing. I looked up and saw many pictures of me. Relax, it's not the naked ones, it's the pig nose ones. " Hot Marty Evens with a pig nose! " The headline of the poster. It must be Belinda, but is useless. I can't stand that spoiled brat. I must do something. I ran away and hid in the washroom to think. At last, I thought of something.

I know Belinda will go to the gym and every time she puts her bag next to her  bottle at her bench. I know she doesn't have clothes in locker because last time she said that the locker is dirty and stinky. I took her bag when she was busy talking to The Fabs. I took her clothes from her bag and throw them to the rubbish bin. When she finished, she went to the bathroom to have a bath. The bathroom don't have hangers, so she have to put her clothes at the door. She took her towel to the bathroom and showered. I took her towel off the door and throw it to the rubbish bin.

Then, when she realized, she shouted , but no one heard her. I heard she cried. I quickly run out of the bathroom and prepared for my next class. That time, there were a bunch of school journalist holding cameras . I quickly ran back to the bathroom, and I saw Belinda undress. She tossing things out from her bag and was finding her clothes. I quickly hid behind the wall. Suddenly, I heard those  journalist going into the bathroom to take pictures as their assignments. I quickly run out to avoid their curious look.

When they went in, I heard a loud scream coming from the bathroom. Then, I heard some snapping pictures sound. Belinda shouted for help , but no one help her. She was undress and those journalists kept on taking pictures of her. I couldn't stand to be that mean. I saw a towel that was on the floor and ran in and gave it to Belinda. She took the towel without a word. One of The Fabs came in, she saw Belinda. Belinda asked her for clothes and the girl ran out and came back with clothes. Belinda quickly put it on and said : " I must find out who done this! " she said as she cried.

I didn't mean to hurt her but she didn't say "Thank you" as I gave her the towel. So, I hurt her again. Those journalist laughed and laughed until gave me one of Belinda's picture. " Keep it , you may be happy you helped someone." one of them gave me while their laughing.

I took the picture back home and did some "things" to it. The next day, I woke up early and go to school earlier before everyone. I put the pictures of Belinda everywhere. Later, Belinda was so shocked, she cried and ran into Ms. Berry office. She said that she will punish those journalist for putting the pictures everywhere. Belinda was hurt.

I didn't mean to hurt Belinda, but she was awful. I can't sleep that night, I think I should tell Ms. Berry that I was the one. Belinda was so innocent and I feel guilty. Sorry Belinda, but you made me  do this.

Chapter 10 : Mom issues

I went home that day and mom scolded me. " Why didn't you come home by 7? You promise me you will attend your aunt's party! " she said. " Erm...... sorry mom, I had to do some projects with Ginny." I answered. " You can at least call me!" she said. I couldn't tell my mom about it. She wouldn't believe me. After all, I had never get detention before. Mom was angry, but what to do. I went to my room, thinking about Belinda. I thought of  stalking her, but it's useless.

" MARTY LIBBY EVENS! GET UP!" mom was shouting from outside. " Whaat......" I asked her. "You better explain this to me!" she says as she opens the door. It was the pictures. " Luckily Belinda sent this to me and told me about this. I can't believe you have been that bad!" mom said. GREAT. It's MISS FREAKING BELINDA, SHE HAS RUINED MY WHOLE LIFE! " MOM, I need to explain,  I didn't take these pictures. I swear. It's Belinda. She asked me to wear her dress and she took pictures of me when I was dressing. " I said with an innocent look. After all, my mom wouldn't believe me if I don't act innocent. " That's an excuse! Belinda is a great girl and she is better than you. She wouldn't do things like that." mom said. This is my mom. She says things without checking. Last time, Belinda put her bracelet in my bag and said I stole it. Mom scolded me and grounded me for a week. I couldn't stand it, it wasn't my fault. It was my fault though for trusting Belinda. "That's it! I'm going to ground you for a week! You are not ashamed of what you have done." mom said.

I was in my room, thinking about mom. Now no one trust me. Not even my best friend, Ginny. Wait, I still a tall girl that understands me, but would she believe me? I seldom talk to dad and my siblings about my thoughts. All I have now is two angry birds. Well, goodnight birds, You are the only real friend and I love you.
